Basketball Cheering Policy
Please be reminded that NO sugared drinks are permitted in the gym. In addition, because Stevens High School is a drug free school zone, smoking is NOT allowed on school property. Finally, while we do encourage POSITIVE cheering (even during the administration of free throws), please keep in mind that sportsmanship is one of the strongest educational lessons and lifetime values taught by interscholastic athletics. We ask that all fans demonstrate sportsmanship by showing respect for the players, the coaches and the officials. Any students or adults who partake in negative cheering and or booing, will be asked to leave the building. Thank you for your continued support and enjoy the upcoming basketball season.
